Have you got a question for TELME? Maybe we can already help you: Here you can find questions and answers to frequently asked questions.
In the packaging of the mobile phone, you will find the mobile phone itself, the charging adaptor and the battery (please charge the battery at least 2 hours before first use!) as well as the instruction manual. Some TELME mobiles include a desk top charger too.
Please remove the battery cover on the back of the mobile phone first.
Then slide the SIM-card from your operator in with the gold contact facing down.
When inserting the battery its golden contacts have to be at the same place as the golden contacts of the device.
When closing the battery door, slide the cover to the closed position with a ‚click‘.
Finally plug the charging cable into the socket on the bottom or left side of the phone. Please do not forget to charge your phone at least 2 hours before first use!
Please enter the respective telephone number via the keypad as follows and press the green button afterwards:
- Calls to fixed line: area code + telephone number, e.g.: 0732 12345
- Calls to mobile network: mobile network code + telephone number, e.g.: 0664 1234567
- Calls to foreign countries: country code + area code without ‚0‘ + telephone number, e.g.: 0049 (or +49) 231 123456
- Calls from abroad: country code + area code without ‚0‘ + telephone number, e.g.: 0043 (or +43) 732 12345

Depending on the mobile, you can store up to 5 emergency numbers, e.g. family members, neighbours, friends or emergency services. In case of emergency these preselected numbers will be dialled automatically in a sequence, if the emergency key on the back of the phone gets pressed for 3 seconds.
A continuous warning tone then starts in ‚loudspeaker mode‘ during emergency, so you and people nearby are warned due to the emergency. If the first number cannot be reached, the second number will be called automatically. If the second number in row cannot be reached, the third number will be called (so the call does not end on mobile boxes and answering machines).
Please note that the reached person has to confirm your emergency call through a call within 1 minute. When a blue light organization is dialled, neither the warning code starts, nor does the recipient has to confirm the call.
If no emergency number is saved or your calling card has expired or you have no access to a foreign network (e.g. when roaming is not permitted), 112 will be dialled.
